Just some things that are absolutely new to me or where I got used to once before but lost track and now back. Lemme see...
1. Being active in our Parish.
I started serving the Lord by joining various activities here in our Parish since I was 9 (3rd grade). But I think because of some reasons of not being able to grasp the new members and old members leaving one by one, I just stopped. But now, I'm back. Not exactly easy, yes, but nonetheless back and very much happy and focused on my intention. =)
2. Writing down my Life Dreams.
Something absolutely new.
It's because with all of the struggles I've been though in the past with my health and with countless family problems, I think that the amount of growth I acquired is inevitable and well... helpful, of course! I started reading motivational books and discovered a mentor in Bo Sanchez. I learned that hey, writing down your dreams won't hurt AT ALL and it doesn't mean expecting too much or not letting God be the center of your life. Einstein said that the greatest magic in the world is daily compounded interest because it gives explosive results. I now second demotion!
3. Using lesser amounts of shampoo.
And mixing it with water.
Now this may sound absurd but it helps my hair! It may not be helpful to you or to most of the people I know, but I think plain shampoo is too strong for my hair, it sucks out all the moisture out of it! So I tried this thing and it worked! My hair is soft and smooth and not only that! It's a very cheap way to look like you've just been to a long soothing day in a salon.
4. Drinking cold water.
When I was a child, I never drank water if it's not straight from the freezer or if it's not with ice. I only started to get used to drink water with a tap temp. when I was in the 6th grade. And now, I'm back to ice-cold water. Do I need to explain why? Just how humid the weather in the Philippines is. JUST HOW! Grr
5. And last but not the least. Singing in front of new friends.
Back when I was a child, I never sang in front of anybody! Not even with my dad. He may hear me singing but not for him and/or with him. But now, I don't care. I'll sing my heart out with whoever there is because... well... just because. Haha
